Notice to candidates:

The Quebec sales tax is set to increase from 8.5% to 9.5%, applied to taxable supplies for which tax will become payable on or after 1 January 2012.  An updated Information Package for the year 2012 will become available in the new year.

 

2011 National Insolvency Exam – Exam Statistics

The 2011 NIE was held on October 12 and 13 2011. The appeals were held December 13, 2011. To view the statistics post appeal please click here.

Congratulations to Arthur BLUMER of Aberback Lapointe & Associés Inc. who received the 2011 Ernst & Young Jack Biddell Gold Medal for having achieved the highest mark on the NIE.

CQP COMPETENCY PROFILE

The Competency Profile outlines the specific professional competencies and proficiency levels that a candidate to the profession should acquire, and be able to demonstrate at the CNIE. These competencies and proficiency levels are expected to reflect the knowledge, skills and behaviours that a newly qualified CIRP should exhibit, as a minimum standard.

ICQC Information Package Now Available

The 2011-2012 Insolvency Counsellor’s Qualification Course Information Package contains details regarding the registration process, fees, course schedules and the requirements to become a registered Insolvency Counsellor under the BIA.
