Course Overview
Introduction to CIRP and Trustee Training
CIRPs and Bankruptcy Trustees play an important role in society, helping individuals and companies understand their options in dealing with financial difficulty, securing assets for creditors, and assuring transparency, accountability, and fairness to stakeholders with respect to financial insolvency and restructuring.
Applicants seeking certification as a CIRP are required to be of good character, study under a sponsor, take extensive training, apprentice for 2,400 hours and complete the CQP Program. In addition to these requirements, candidates must meet all of the requirements of OSB Directive 13R2 before they can obtain a licence as a Trustee.
All of the details pertaining to the Program are also available in the Program Rules.
