CAIRP offers a variety of continuing education programs to position industry practitioners to achieve their mandatory professional development objectives. CAIRP’s Programming Committees are committed to engaging esteemed experts from the areas of insolvency, restructuring, receiverships and turn-around management, to ensure program participants of the most relevant and timely information.
Commercial Insolvency and Restructuring Program
This one-day, annual session focuses on issues specific to large-file commercial practices. The program is held every April, in Toronto, and is open to CAIRP members and non-members. For information on the next Commercial program visit here.
Insolvency and Restructuring Forum
Designed for mid-market commercial and personal insolvency practices, this program encompasses a series of six, one-day seminars held across Canada every May, and is open to CAIRP members and non-members. For information on the next Forum visit here.
CAIRP Annual Conference
The Associations’ annual signature event is held every summer in August. The three-day conference features outstanding technical sessions with a leading faculty of experts. The itinerary also includes the Annual General Meeting, as well as networking golf tournaments, and a variety of social and leisure activities. As of 2009, this exclusive event, once reserved for CAIRP members only, was opened to non-members, eliciting record-breaking attendance and accolades from members and guests. Insolvency Administration Course
This home-study course, offered by CAIRP since 1989, is available exclusively to Estate Administrators working within member firms. Registration is restricted and the proprietary course material, which was designed by CAIRP members for members only, is maintained and administered by the Association.
